Betty Birney Contact Information

The best way to contact me is via email. Just click on the Contact link at the bottom of each page. If you need a quick response for a report, that's the fastest way. If you want a snail mail reply, send your address and please, your last name - printed neatly. At the risk of sounding cranky, if I can't read it, I can't answer you. I have literally spent hours trying to decipher a student's name or address.

If you are a classroom and all the students write me letters, I won't be able to answer them all, but I'm happy to write one letter to the whole class.

Please don't ask for a free book from me. I make my living selling books and I'd have to buy a book to send to you, which isn't possible.

If you want to send a snail mail letter, please be aware that it might take awhile to get to me - sometimes six months or more. Make sure you send it to the right publisher (see below) - otherwise it gets delayed further. A self-addressed, stamped envelope is appreciated but hardly anyone ever does this.

(By the way, if you ever want to know where to mail a letter to an author, the publisher's address is always inside the book.)
