FUN

On July 4, 2006,I was part of the fabulous LAYA (Los Angeles Young Adult Writers) group that judged the South Pasadena 4th of July Balloon Parade (thanks completely to Lisa Yee - who also threw a great party)! It was a real small-town America parade - the 25th anniversary. We wore crowns and sashes and basically had a blast - though we took our judging very seriously. Here are a few photos.

We got to ride (and wave to the crowds) for part of the parade route - whoopee! From left, Eileen, Betty, Cecil, Amy, Lisa, Kerry
